Macromedia^® Flash animations

Macromedia^® Flash, or better Adobe^® Flash (Adobe bought Macromedia in 2005) is used to show animations on websites. On company sites animations should be used with caution. The long loading time of animations can cause visitors to leave your site. Also, most of the visitors to your site are there to find the information they need. They can be easily annoyed by moving images which distract them. If used with caution Flash animations can be a valuable addition to your site.
